Paw and Porch was created in honor of our beloved dog, Kida, and the deep love we shared with her. With her special needs, it was never easy to leave her in someone else’s care — and finding someone we trusted was even harder. In Loving Memory of Kida
In February 2020, just before the world changed, a little golden pitty puppy found her way into our lives. She was lost, a bit wild, and absolutely perfect. We named her Kida — and from the very first moment, she was family.Kida helped us through some of our hardest seasons. She comforted us during heartbreak, brought joy and laughter throughout the routine of life, and showed up every day with endless love. Fierce, goofy, loyal, and tender — she was the heartbeat of our home.At just two years old, Kida began having seizures. Despite years of medications, midnight ER visits, and every ounce of love and care we could give, her condition progressed. We fought for her — and she fought right back — until her little body told us it was time. Surrounded by her people, she passed peacefully, wrapped in love.This business, and this brand, carries Kida’s spirit. She is the reason we understand how deeply pets are woven into our families and our hearts. She taught us how to love fiercely, care deeply, and show up with compassion every single day.This section is dedicated not just to Kida, but to every special needs pet out there — the ones who require a little more time, a little more patience, and a whole lot of love.
